How we can help you

Assisting businesses to initiate, develop, structure and close a transaction is our focus. In this process we can do financial and cash flow modelling, business/company valuation, transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiation, tailor-made transaction document drafting and closing the deal, navigating through applicable law and legislation, amongst others, company and tax laws. We have extensive experience in the application of the JSE Listings Requirements and Rules of The Takeover Regulation Panel.

We well understand that often a business just needs guidance on legal and financial issues surrounding taking, or not taking, a particular course of action, or assistance in facilitating the execution of shareholder or management action plans and objectives.

Whether you need tailor-made legal agreements or purpose-built financial modelling to implement an intricate transaction, or just a short telephone conversation to assist you in steering in the right direction, we'll always aim to add value.

Where needed and with your prior consent we’ll collaborate and/or consult with other specialists in their fields or co-opt human resources to assist with bulk/volume work (such as due diligence investigations).

Our fees are highly competitive and flexible depending on complexity and nature of the mandate. Our hourly rates for work of a routine, fact-finding, repetitive or administrative nature are substantially lower than the rate we apply for work involving creativity, application of skill, expertise and experience, problem-solving or tailor-made legal agreement drafting or financial modelling.

We are also willing to work on the basis of pre-agreed fixed fees for a mandate and/or retainer fee arrangements.

We’ll gladly provide a fee estimate at the commencement of and/or during the execution of a mandate.
